Ask an expert (Actually Two): Financing Affordable Housing
Meg McGraw-Scherer of California Housing Partnership and Mollie Naber of MidPen Housing will share their insights, experience, and know-how to answer your questions about how we can finance and build the affordable homes we need to meet our County's needs.
Project Homekey is a statewide effort to sustain and rapidly expand housing for persons experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
Mike Callagy, San Mateo County's Executive Officer, oversees the efficient running of the County's daily operations and carries out policies established by the Board of Supervisors.
Jenny Michel works with local groups such as MPC Ready, YIMBY Action, Menlo Together, and CERT with Menlo Park Fire. Most recently, Jenny helped Menlo Park submit their 6th Housing Element. Jenny Michel is a native of Palo Alto and a resident of Menlo Park, where she resides with her husband and young son.
Q&A topics will include housing instability, educating the community on homelessness, and how to prepare if one finds themselves in unstable housing.
